This group is directed by Prof. Ismael Pagan, of the UPRM Civil Engineering Department, and has as external collaborators two members of the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) of the US Army Corps of Engineers. During this first year this group has concentrated on characterizing phenomenological attributes of wSeptember 7, 2005on technology (IT) framework for decision support in water resources management. This group will acquire a graduate student fully supported by the WALSAIP project starting the fall semester of the 2005/2006 academic year.
