Gridsphere and Globus, the most used-open source technologies to building a portlet based web portal, and grid-based systems and applications, are used in this portal !!!
Workflow application to grid environment:
The crude data are preprocessing and processing with the respective tools.
The images then are stored in the data server
Now the user needs to perform a composition of operators
He/her access the Portal through their computer with Inernet access.
He/her go in the portlet that will provide the operators and workspace with drag-and-drop functionality.
The image will be transport be means of GridFTP, the ftp client of Globus.
Portal will be deployed in the grid portal server.
The portal server will invoke the operators allocated in distributed resources.

The user can customize their profile information.
The user can customize their layout presentation of their session.
